Remote Instruction (Video Stroke Analysis)

 

No aspect of a players game is more important than their stroke. Undiagnosed stroking errors rob you of consistency, cause you to lose games and can prevent development of new skills. Now players have unprecidented access to professional stroke analysis wherever they may live. Simply submit your video and recieve a video response with analysis of your stroke and instructions to correct it! You will also receive a detailed video explaining what physics and experience show to be the ideal stroke (with explanations of some areas where multiple approaches allow you to tailor the ideal stroke to your body).

 

Please note that you DO NOT need a fancy video camcorder to record your video. Even a basic PC Web Camera will work if you have a PC or Laptop you can put in the correct location to capture yourself while shooting the test shots. All you need is the ability to capture your entire stroke in the frame of the video (back stroke, contact with cue ball and follow through along with your body from the waist up as you shoot).

 

How it works

Step 1: Contact FBI to sign up for remote stroke analysis. You will be emailed an invoice for $200 you can pay electronically with any major credit card.

 

Step 2: You will set up your video camera and record yourself shooting a few basic shots (FBI provides a document which explains exactly what shots to perform and where to place the camera to capture what is needed for analysis).

 

Step 3: Submit the recording to FBI (we accept most media straight from your camera including memory sticks, DVDs and mini-tapes).

 

Step 4: FBI will analyze your video and create a custom video explaining exactly where your stroke can be improved as well as how to make the corrections. A standard video is also included which explains exactly what our instructors look for and what constitutes the "ideal" stroke (areas where several correct options exist are fully explained). Our ideal stroke video also explains why other instructors and laymen share ideas that are not as effective as those presented to our students.

 

Step 5: Review the ideal stroke video along with the custom video provided for you. Peform the corrections provided and the supporting drills to take your stroke and your game to the next level. FBI is available to answer any questions on improving your stroke as part of this service.
